A tattoo client of mine (the one with all the hummingbirds) asked if I could paint a wooden sculpture that she owns to bring it back to life. I’ve never done painting on wood that wasn’t meant for it (like wooden boxes/containers from craft stores), so I was a little nervous. I decided to put my fear behind me and just go for it.
|Super professional work area, yeah?|
So, starting today, this is what is completed. She has asked to not see progress photos, so this post won’t be linked to my artists page until it is done. Hoping to make significant progress on this today. This will be a red-throat hummingbird, and I’m thinking a yellow flower. We will see!
